Position Details

• Experienced RN (1yr+) – sign‑on bonus up to $15,000
• Weekend Nights – Full Time, 36 hours per week
• Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd, ICU
• New graduates not being considered at this time.

Overview

Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensure:
  Current Oklahoma RN License.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care.
• Other:
  Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/Education Coordinator.
