CARE Express is hiring full‑time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing outpatient clinics. Schedule and Pay
  • 12‑hour shifts with rotating Saturdays
  • Starting at $21/hour and up, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinical setting. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and weight. The LPN will perform venipuncture, TB skin tests, EKGs, assist with laboratory testing, administer medications by oral, intramuscular, and IV routes, insert saline locks, assist with advanced life support, provide wound care, apply splints and sterile dressings, remove sutures and staples, and assist providers with examinations and procedures, including pelvic exams.

Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and maintaining patient confidentiality are essential parts of this role.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and demonstrate strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment. Successful candidates are patient‑focused, dependable, customer‑service oriented, and comfortable working with electronic medical record systems. The ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team is essential.

Onboarding and Training

Newly hired employees may be required to attend a four‑day training session in Texarkana, Texas as part of the onboarding process.
