Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required (BSN preferred)

• Current Oklahoma nursing license or current multistate compact RN license required

• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required

• NRP (American Heart Association) certification required

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients

• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary

• Administer medications as prescribed

• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products

• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and hospital procedures

• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel

• Delegate tasks to support staff

• Maintain professional nursing standards and good working relationships with colleagues
