Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients

• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary

• Administer medications as prescribed

• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products

• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge

• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel

• Delegate tasks to support staff

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required (BSN preferred)

• Current Oklahoma nursing license or multistate compact RN license required

• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (American Heart Association)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed

• Computer skills required

• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
