American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience, 2+ years of travel experience, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
Details- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor
- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required
- Full DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents patient responses to nursing interventions
- Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Administers medication and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products
- Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge information
- Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility
- Workers may extend assignments one time up to a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
