American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Level III NICU position requiring 2 years of Level III NICU experience and a compact or OK RN license.

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00
• NICU III work setting caring for neonates ranging from under 24 weeks to over 34 weeks gestation
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Weekend coverage required, 5 shifts per 6-week schedule set by the facility
• Floating required within scope to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Uses Epic charting system
• No block scheduling accommodations

• Active OK or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS, NRP/NALS, and STABLE certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
• Skilled in IV therapy, arterial and central line management, UAC/UVC care, and administration of blood products
• Experience with high frequency ventilation, oscillators, and nitric oxide therapy
• Experience with neonatal sepsis management and neonatal dosage calculations
• Experience with phototherapy and management of hyperbilirubinemia
• Current, valid driver's license or state-issued
• Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address dated within the last 3 months required
• Two supervisory references required
• Copies of certifications required with submission

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU setting
• Deliver developmental care and support patient/family teaching, including breastfeeding support
• Manage feedings via bottle, breast, and gavage, including placement of feeding tubes
• Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment with no holiday RTO permitted
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation to be eligible
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history require an explanation
