American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute-care hospital assignment requiring EPIC experience and a compact or OK RN license.
Details- Acute-care hospital Case Management/Utilization Review unit
- Manages complex hospitalized patients with a 1:25 patient ratio
- Responsibilities include appeals and denials, benefits eligibility, care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and prior authorizations
- Utilizes Milliman Care Guidelines (MCG) and follows CMS and HIPAA regulatory standards
- Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (7:30-6:00) with rotating weekends
- Floating required to other units or facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Active RN license (OK or Compact) required
- BLS certification required; CCM certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute-care hospital Case Management experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Experience with MCG or Inter Qual preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, discharge planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary care team
- Valid driver's license or state-issued , along with a utility bill matching name and address within the last three months
- Two supervisory references required
- Copies of certifications required for consideration
- Coordinate services and facilitate timely transitions of care for hospitalized patients
- Document accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
- Self-directed candidates comfortable managing complex cases are ideal
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
- Local candidates within commuting distance may be considered for conversion to a permanent role after assignment completion
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO accepted
- Previous INTEGRIS employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the health system to be eligible
- First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
