American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Labor and Birth position requiring 2+ years of recent labor experience and C-EFM and NRP certification.

• Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates, not guaranteed)
• Utilizes external fetal monitoring equipment
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift, 3x12, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend hours as required by the facility
• No call requirements
• May be required to float to postpartum

• Active RN license (OK or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM, and NRP
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 babies monthly
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate for those within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
