American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a day shift position requiring a compact or OK RN license and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

• ICU unit with 36 beds in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift, 3x12 schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required, with potential for additional weekends based on census
• Floating to Stepdown unit required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EPIC EMR used

• Active RN license (Compact or OK State)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience required
• Must provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in all phases of ICU care
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required

• Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, subject to local contract restrictions after 3 consecutive 13-week assignments
• First-time travelers may be considered
