American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele
- Stepdown position requiring stepdown and tracheostomy care experience.

• Work in a Med Specialty Step Down unit in a hospital setting
• Care for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week

• Active RN License (Oklahoma State Board or multistate compact eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by AHA
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Stepdown and tracheostomy care experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and treatment responses
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Administer medications and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Facility enforces strict compliance and credentialing deadlines, with no start date flexibility
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation of an assignment
