American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring C-EFM and NRP certifications along with 2+ years of labor and delivery experience.

• Work in the Family Birth Place unit on a Labor & Birth floor
• Unit has 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1
• Uses external fetal monitoring equipment
• Charts in EPIC EMR
• Night shift schedule, 3x12, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend hours required as needed by facility
• No call requirements
• May be required to float to post partum unit

• Active RN license (OK or compact) required
• Current BLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
• Experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 babies monthly required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Provide direct patient care in a busy labor and delivery unit
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Accepts local candidates within 50 miles, subject to local contract restrictions after 3 consecutive 13-week assignments
• First time travelers may be considered
