American Traveler is hiring a RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery unit requiring at least one year of acute OR experience and a Level 1 trauma center background.

• Work in the Adult Surgery unit of an acute care hospital
• Perioperative circulator role supporting operative and invasive procedures
• Night shift schedule with 5 shifts per week at 8 hours per shift
• 40 hours per week
• 6+ months of Level 1 trauma center experience required

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room environment
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing theory and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team
• Basic computer skills
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration
• CNOR certification preferred

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients in the operating room
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate individualized perioperative nursing care based on patient health status, age, and procedure type
• Document and evaluate all components of patient care using the nursing process
• Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Facility requires strict adherence to credentialing and compliance deadlines with no start date flexibility
• 30-day written notice required to cancel or end an assignment early
• Workers may extend once up to a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
