American Traveler is hiring an experienced Perioperative Circulator RN for a Level 1 trauma operating room requiring at least one year of acute OR experience.

• Works in the Adult Surgery unit as a Perioperative Circulator
• Level 1 trauma center with at least 6 months of recent Level 1 experience required
• Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours weekly

• Active OK or multistate compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing practices
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
• Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care in the operating room
• Documents and evaluates all components of perioperative patient care using the nursing process
• Individualizes care based on patient health status, age, and procedure type
• Works collaboratively as part of a surgical care team
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Facility strictly enforces credentialing and compliance deadlines with no start date flexibility
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or assignment termination
• Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
