Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Transplant ICU RN requiring Level 1 trauma and neuro ICU experience for a night shift assignment.

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma and neuro ICU experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, three days per week
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of ICU patients with complex health conditions
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and communicate changes in physician orders
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
• Collaborate with patients and families on care plans and discharge education
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Returning travelers may extend contracts once for a total of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying
• Facility strictly enforces credentialing deadlines with no start date flexibility
