American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular ICU RN with Impella, IABP, and ECMO proficiency for a day-shift hospital assignment.

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting
• Care for post open heart surgery patients including day 2 recovery
• Requires proficiency with Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO equipment
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and heart recovery required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Provide nursing care to a variety of cardiovascular ICU patients including those requiring mechanical circulatory support
• Administer medications, monitor IV infusions and blood products, and assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Communicate care plans with patients and families and coordinate discharge needs
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not considered for this position
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility
• Workers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
• 30-day written notice required for early assignment cancellation
