Our laboratory works with pharmaceutical companies, compounding and hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and raw material suppliers, bringing excellence to pharmaceutical sciences and making pharmaceuticals safer.

The position requires the performance of a variety of tasks, including development and validation of analytical methods, work with HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), manage a variety of research projects, and qualitatively/quantitatively test client samples. The candidate must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, procedures, and instrumentation used in a chemistry laboratory. Research Scientist II manages projects with some supervision and reports to the lab supervisor.

The Research Scientist II must be able to think and work independently, share ideas, and work toward team goals.

• Qualitatively and quantitatively test client samples
• Develop and validate analytical methods
• Manage research projects and coordinate work between departments
• Write research protocols, project reports, and working instructions
• Communicate with clients regarding project/sample test status
• Use HPLC, IC, and LCMSMS

• A BS in chemistry or related science with 4+ years industrial experience in MDMV Chemistry in the bio‑technology and/or pharmaceutical space
• PhD in chemistry with 4+ years industrial experience in MDMV Chemistry in the bio‑technology and/or pharmaceutical space preferred
• Or related science with 0‑2 years industrial experience
• Communication proficiency

This job operates in a laboratory environment.

This position often requires standing for prolonged periods of time; dexterity in fingers and hands to perform complex and precise manipulations; ability to walk and stand; ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs; normal visual and hearing range required, with or without correction.
