The Lead Inspector will ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials go through the proper levels of inspection, according to both AAR and ISO 9000 standards.

• Lead outgoing and/or incoming inspection.
• Process incoming and outgoing material.
• Enforce Quality Control requirements per the ISO 9000 and customer requirements.
• Administer effective training and on the job training of Quality Control inspectors.
• Assist Quality Manager in reviewing and updating department standards.
  
  Interface with different departments in AAC/ATC.
• All other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• FAA A&P License required.

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; or
• 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility regularly.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
• Environmental characteristic for this position is a warehouse setting; candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.
