Job Description

Our bakeries are lively and bustling with genuinely friendly people who have the “hospitality gene.” They understand the importance of what they do every day and are empowered to make days better. Their connections to our guests and to each other are what separates Susie Cakes from other bakeries.

The Production Manager leads the culinary operation by means of baking and building of delicious cakes and other baked goods in house. They are in charged with ensuring the highest quality baked goods are produced in a timely manner by means of training, supporting overall safety, and developing the culinary team in the area of production management.

  • Shifts may begin as early as 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead team in production of custom baked goods. Develop and train skills in mixing, baking, and building.
  • Assign daily production to team members and ensure completion
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional locations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds
