Outside Sales Representative at National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)

Pay Range

Base pay: $70,000 – $200,000 per year. Total compensation includes performance‑based incentives, straight commission, and bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and enroll new members through face‑to‑face cold calls and in‑person pitch.
  • The role is a hunter/closer position with an assumptive one‑call close; no account‑management after the sale.
  • Memorize and deliver NFIB’s 5‑minute verbatim sales presentation.
  • Build rapport, overcome objections, and close the sale.
  • Process payment on the spot.

  • Up to 26 weeks of performance‑based training pay (or commission, whichever is greater).
  • $300 onboarding pay and $700 start‑on‑time bonus.
  • Production‑based weekly commissions, monthly & quarterly bonuses.
  • Annual average compensation: $80,000 – $200,000.
  • UNCAPED earning potential (straight commission).
  • Monthly mileage reimbursement.
