We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Payroll Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role you will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries, educating prospective clients on our payroll solutions and converting leads into new business opportunities. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for potential customers, guiding them through the sales process while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to inbound phone calls, marketing leads, and sales pipeline regarding payroll services.
- Qualify leads by understanding business needs, employee count, and current payroll processes.
- Present payroll solutions and value propositions tailored to each prospect’s needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations (phone, web‑based, or video conference) to showcase platform features.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of inbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate CRM documentation.
- Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets, conversation rates, and activity metrics.
- Stay current on payroll compliance, tax, regulations, and HR technology trends to provide informed guidance.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- 1‑3 years of Inside Sales, Business Development, or Account Management experience (preferably in Payroll, HR, SaaS, or Financial Services).
- Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a consultative sales environment.
- Experience handling inbound leads and managing multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Gong) and virtual presentation tools.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, HR solutions, and/or related services is a strong plus.
