As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking in Oklahoma City, OK
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires both an armed and driving qualification, as you will be responsible for patrolling multiple areas.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical points within the financial institution to help deter potential risks and report any suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
- Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, clients, and visitors.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols when carrying and handling a firearm while on duty.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
