Security - Overnight

Overview

Legends Global is seeking a Security – Overnight professional to patrol assigned territory and protect patrons, staff, vendors, and participants. Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance, handling emergencies, writing incident reports, and maintaining security equipment.

• Stand guard during events and tour posts to ensure safety.
• Handle disturbances, escort disruptive individuals to the security office or off premises, and document incidents.
• Write incident reports and review with the supervisor.
• Monitor all surveillance, access control, and radio equipment.
• Prioritize situations, investigate, and dispatch all safety and security incidents.
• Answer emergency, non‑emergency, and administrative phone lines and respond to emergencies and callouts.
• Communicate effectively using handheld radio.
• Inspect alarms, fire extinguishers/sprinkler systems, and premises for intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility to secure doors, windows, and gates.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside the facility.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations—answer alarms and investigate.
• Operate the Command Center efficiently and utilize CCTV and Access Control to set door schedules based on building and event needs.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and arrive on time for all shift assignments, including overtime when needed.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and responsive customer service and maintain the highest standards of business ethics.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities. The employee may carry out temporarily assigned supervisory duties in accordance with ASM policies and applicable laws.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Preference for previous experience in a security role.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Meet the physical requirements of this position.
• Situation and risk assessment, stakeholder collaboration, strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, and project execution are essential.

• Effective communication and record keeping.
• Analytical, decision‑making, negotiation and mediation skills.
• Conflict resolution and exercise appropriate action during high‑tension and stressful situations.
• Knowledge of security and safety guidelines, laws, and regulations affecting security policies and operations.
• Knowledge of security technology, CCTV, Door Access Systems, and security project implementation.
• Read, write and understand English.

• LEET certification within six months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.

• Long hours sitting/walking, occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs (sometimes 50 lbs).
• Operate security equipment; manual dexterity required for keys and doors.
• Reach, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and maintain visual acuity while viewing monitors.

• Proficient with computers and security monitors.
• Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office.

• Travel is negligible.
• Work any shift, including weekends and overnight shifts as scheduled.
• Extend hours when required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
