Journeyman Electrician

Benchmark Electrical Solutions is a trusted electrical contractor serving a wide range of industries with a strong emphasis on commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects. We are growing and seeking an experienced, licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team and help drive continued success.

We are looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with hands‑on experience in governmental, hospital, commercial and industrial electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of NEC code, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. This is a travel‑based role requiring travel to job sites across the United States.

• Install and maintain various electrical systems and components, including control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Replace fuses and breakers in both high‑ and low‑voltage circuits.
• Repair and maintain motors and generators.
• Connect and disconnect electrically powered machinery and equipment.
• Mentor apprentices by promoting quality workmanship and safety practices.
• Work effectively in all weather conditions and environments.

• Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
• Strong work ethic and safety‑first mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to remote job sites.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional at all times.
• Team‑oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.

• Climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
• Lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Apply pushing or pulling force over 100 lbs.
• Work in high or confined spaces.
• Perform duties in various outdoor conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.).
• Wear employer‑provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
