Location: Oklahoma City, OK

The candidate will perform tasks such as setting and maintaining traffic control devices, setting forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, pouring concrete for sign foundations, erecting pipe and angle iron frameworks by bolting, welding or other means prior to installation of directional and informational signs. Duties also include locating and drilling holes or hoisting signs into place, fastening signs to the framework by bolting or other means, and performing other work associated with signing projects (e.g., delineators, striping, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, detours).

The candidate will place traffic control devices on or adjacent to the job site, maintain devices in the proper location and operating condition, and service and repair equipment and devices.

Employees must be able to show up on time, have reasonable transportation to and from work, work outside during heat, and be able to lift at least 100 lbs. Must pass pre‑employment drug screening and possess a valid driver’s license. A C.D.L. license could benefit the hourly wage.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. is recommended but not required. Training as a traffic control technician or supervisor is recommended but not required and can be provided during employment.
