Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Aircraft Mechanic/Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft, ensuring their airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Beechcraft (Beech 300 series) or Bombardier aircraft (CL604/605/650) within a Part 121, 135, or 145 environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems (airframe and power plant).
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in complex aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, electrical, avionics, engines).
- Repair, replace, modify, and install aircraft components.
- Conduct inspections and evaluate the condition of aircraft for compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs and service records.
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Use welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding to join and repair aircraft metal parts.
- Fabricate new parts from raw materials based on blueprints and specifications.
- Work with various aircraft metals, including titanium, steel, aluminum, and others.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Certification:
Valid FAA Airframe (A) and/or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificates required. - Experience:
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience as an aircraft maintenance technician working on Beechcraft or Bombardier aircraft (Beech 300 series, CL604/605/650) in an FAA certified Part 121, 135, or 145 environment. (Department of Defense aircraft experience is not acceptable.) - Skills:
- Proficient in maintenance and troubleshooting of airframe, power plant, and related aircraft systems.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Experience with BE300 Initial and/or CL604/605/650 Initial training.
Full-time, Contract
Pay$34.32 per hour
Expected Hours40 per week
