* JOB SUMMARY:

** Responsible for ensuring quality vehicle maintenance by performing general and mechanical repairs on all company equipment and vehicles in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. Requires regular travel to customer sites within assigned service area and up to 50% overnight travel for extended service calls or regional assignments.
** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** General repairs of all vehicles and completing all paperwork related to repair orders.
* Work includes, but is not limited to, repair of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brake repair and replacement as directed.  Also includes assisting with component rebuilding such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.  This position may be responsible for welding associated with the above duties.
* Assisting other mechanics as needed and completing special projects for the Shop Supervisor upon request.
* Wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) related to task being performed as well as using all required safety equipment and procedures.
* Maintaining a neat and professional appearance of self and shop areas.
* Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
* Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

* REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

**** Experience/Education/Skill
*** Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
* Good safety and driving record
* Willingness to work nights, overtime and weekends as required.
* Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships
* Ability to wear a respirator and perform work.
* Self-motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.
* Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment
*
* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

*** Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight frequently
* Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders
* Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
* Ability to use vibration tools repeatedly
* Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
* Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing / walking / sitting
* Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
