Mill Creek Lumber and Supply Company has been a trusted provider of lumber and building materials since 1934. We are expanding and are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installation Helper to assist experienced fireplace installers in delivering safe, compliant, and customer‑focused installations.

• Assist with the installation of wood‑burning and gas fireplaces, following manufacturer guidelines and local building codes.
• Conduct on‑site assessments to determine feasibility and recommend modifications.
• Prepare installation sites by measuring, cutting, and fitting framing, venting components, fireboxes, surrounds, and mantels.
• Help assemble and install fireplace components, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and connection.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and project managers to meet installation requirements and satisfy expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including cleaning and inspecting parts.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and hours worked.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in construction or a related field preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
