Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company, is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to drive/operate and control large equipment and vehicles including bulldozers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, scraper/tractor pans, track hoes, motor graders, mixers, and water trucks.

• Skilled heavy equipment operators with verifiable experience running grader, dozer, scraper, track hoe, mixer, and front‑end loader.
• Unload equipment from vehicles.
• Knowledge of machine settings.
• Maintain equipment functionality often.
• Keep performance record(s) of machine functionality regularly.
• Provide pre‑emptive maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunction.
• Pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections/evaluations of the equipment.

Hand and foot coordination, good communication skills (oral and written), ability to work as a team, strong critical thinking ability, high attention to detail, and decision‑making ability to prevent accidents and damage to property. Physical ability to work in a strenuous environment and strength to operate heavy equipment.

• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
• Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Must perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, crouching, shoveling, etc.
• Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
