You must also be able to identify and sell additional services appropriate to the customer’s needs, including contents pack-out, cleaning and storage, reconstruction, and other company offerings. Success requires following these opportunities through a clear handoff to the appropriate department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explain the recommended work, answer customer questions, and secure signed work authorizations.
  • Identify and sell appropriate services across the organization’s offerings.
  • Lead crews while actively assisting with extraction, demolition, equipment placement, drying, cleaning, and other production work.
  • Coordinate daily schedules, staffing, equipment, and materials across multiple active projects.
  • Complete and maintain job documentation, including photographs, moisture readings, drying logs, scope notes, and customer communications.
  • Prepare and support estimates using Xactimate and maintain accurate information in company job management systems.
  • Communicate progress and scope changes to customers, adjusters, management, and supporting departments.
  • Monitor labor, equipment use, job costs, production timelines, and quality.
  • Maintain safety standards, follow applicable restoration procedures, and coach technicians on proper field practices.
  • Coordinate contents and reconstruction handoffs to keep projects moving and maintain customer confidence.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior hands-on experience producing and leading mitigation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect a loss, scope the work, document the project, and manage it through completion.
  • Ability to sell mitigation work and related services through clear, professional customer communication.
  • Working proficiency in Xactimate.
  • Experience directing crews and coordinating multiple jobs.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or job management systems.
  • Ability to work at active job sites in varying conditions and perform the essential field duties of the position.
  • Availability for emergency response, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional IICRC certifications, including ASD, AMRT, or FSRT.
  • Experience with contents services, reconstruction coordination, and insurance program documentation.
  • Experience training technicians and improving production processes.
