The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our team as a Dual Role Aquatics and Healthy Living Coordinator. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee aquatic programs including swim lessons, water safety courses, and recreational swimming activities.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and supervising aquatic facilities.
- Plan and coordinate healthy living programs such as fitness classes, wellness workshops, and community health initiatives.
- Promote member engagement and retention through innovative programming and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with staff and community partners to enhance program offerings and outreach efforts.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies related to aquatic and healthy living activities.
- Track program participation, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust offerings to meet community needs.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in aquatics or health and wellness preferred.
- Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification required; water safety instructor certification a plus.
- Experience in aquatic programming, fitness instruction, or health promotion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse community members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Organizational skills with attention to safety, detail, and program quality.
- Passion for promoting healthy living and community wellness.
