Shuttle Driver

Southwest Mansions Independent senior living community is hiring a new bus driver! The Mansions Senior Living Driver is an upfront and hands-on representative of our Communities. They have extensive daily interaction with customers and the public on the company's behalf. This position requires personnel to be professional, courteous, outgoing, compassionate, and maintain safety procedures at all times. Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.

SCHEDULE:

Tues - Thursday, 7:30 am to 4 pm

JOB TYPE / REQUIREMENTS:

Part Time 24 hours per week

Experience driving passenger commercial vehicles is preferred. CDL is not required.

Willing to travel to other Mansions Senior Living Communities for emergencies or fill-in shifts

Must provide excellent customer service & communication with residents, their families, co-workers, and supervisors

Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Screening and pass a pre-employment Drug Test

Must possess valid identification, driver's license, and acceptable driving record & current personal auto insurance

Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time and maintain good attendance

Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend throughout shift. Must be able to lift 25-50lbs.

ESSENTIAL

JOB DUTIES:

(including but not limited to)

Drive residents to & from scheduled outings, doctor appointments & wanderings

Vehicle operation may vary: 4 passenger Car or 14 passenger Bus

Responsible for ensuring needed maintenance & upkeep is taken care of. Not responsible for performing mechanical maintenance.

Maintain up to date Vehicle Maintenance Log for communication with Director

Report any mechanical malfunctions or safety concerns to the director immediately: tires, fluids, oil changes, wipers, lights, engine, odd sounds, etc.

Report any damage to the Director immediately, regardless of how minor

Ensure that the vehicle is kept in a clean, orderly presentation

Other miscellaneous duties to be determined as situations arise
