Warehouse II is a general labor position focused on movement of product within the warehouse and serves as a backup delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. The role prioritizes and picks product to fill orders and physically moves and lifts product weighing up to 150 pounds.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork and daily closing of the warehouse.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size, and type; inform management of inventory shortages and assist in periodic inventory counts.
- Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies; segregate defective product from normal inventory flow.
- Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
- Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
- Load and unload delivery trucks; lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding areas; keep floors clear of debris and assist in daily closing of the warehouse.

Physical Demands Category:

- Occasional standing, walking, sitting; use of hands to manipulate objects; reach; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell.
- Occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds.
