Accountant II

Overview

Join to apply for the Accountant II role at KAMO Power in Vinita, Oklahoma. This position supports a wide range of accounting duties including journal entries, accounting reconciliations, financial reporting and compliance activities.

• Create journal entries and supporting schedules for financial reporting
• Support billing, accounts payable, and general revenue/expense cycle activities
• Enter and report data using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
• Assist with fixed assets, cash management, tax and compliance reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain sub-ledgers
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with inter/external audits
• Support short- and long-term financing activities

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• 4 to 6 years of accounting or finance experience required. Experience with electric utilities or public accounting may substitute for education.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with Dynamics BC software is a plus
