Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading North West firm of chartered accountants who are looking to grow their team in Blackburn with the addition of an Audit Assistant Manager.

This prominent and well-renowned firm have a fantastic presence across the region and work with an entirely diverse and varied client base which includes a range of small-medium businesses, OMBs, as well as group structured entities.

Joining as an Audit Assistant Manager you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Audit services to a broad portfolio of clients. This will include acting as point of contact to clients, leading fieldwork (both remotely and on-site), as well as supervising and guiding Audit Seniors and Juniors.

You’ll work closely with existing Audit Managers and RI’s to ensure the efficient completion of assignments, enhancing and maintaining the firm’s excellent reputation for personable and professional service.

The ideal person for the role will be ACA or ACCA Qualified, preferably with a year or two PQE. Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of audit are essential, as are excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.
