Regular Full-Time, Education Level: High School, The Purchased Referred Care Clerk will provide telephone and reception services for the PRC department within the Wah-Zha-Zhi Health Center. This position will field a high volume of incoming calls from WZZHC patients and providers, as well as providing call backs for those who have been placed on the department’s call log. In the performance of these duties extreme detail and emphasis on customer service must be applied.

• Minimum educational requirement of High School Diploma/GED
• Intermediate computer literacy skills

• Intermediate proficiency with computer-based system to route appointment requests to appropriate clinic queue
• Knowledge of phone systems and Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and Privacy Act
• Requires high attention to detail
• Must maintain a professional attitude and phone etiquette that positively represents the WZZHC
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
• Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles.
