Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Technician, Software Verification to join their team. As a Technician, Software Verification, you will be part of the Systems Verification department supporting engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Technician, Software Verification
Location:St Paul , MN
Pay Range:$26/hr on w2
What's the Job?- Perform system-level test execution and collect data for analysis.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures and setups, including ECAD/MCAD, robotics, and motion control systems.
- Support test method development and validation activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Assist in programming and automation tasks using LabVIEW and Python to streamline testing processes.
- Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately to support engineering documentation and compliance standards.
- Associates degree or technical certification in electronics, mechatronics, or related fields; equivalent experience considered.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a technician role, preferably within regulated industries such as medical devices.
- Proficiency with test equipment, tools, and software for data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, Solid Works, and Altium is advantageous.
- Strong documentation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
