Adjunct Lecturer Pool - Art

The Department of Art at Pittsburg State University ( is accepting applications for part-time temporary Adjunct Lecturers in each of the following areas:
Art Education, 2-D Areas, 3-D Areas

• Teach pedagogy courses in Art Education emphasis curriculum
• Content Areas include Art Education Theory and Practice, Elementary Art Education Methods, and Secondary Art Education Methods

• Teach courses in 2-D and Illustration areas to non- majors, majors, and minors
• Possible fully online course solely for non- majors

• Teach courses in 3-D Areas to non-majors, majors, and minors.
• Possible fully online course solely for non-majors

• Appropriate Master’s degree required
• Substantial professional experience in Art discipline
• Experience in university-level teaching
• Ability to relate well with students and faculty in a regional institution within an environment of shared governance

Job Type: Unclassified,Adjunct Faculty, four-month appointment

Appointment Duration:Semester

Work Schedule:Part Time
