About the PositionA rural Northwest Oklahoma family seeks a certified teacher to provide in-home instruction for two children, ages four and five as of August 2026. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, hands-on learning environment that incorporates outdoor exploration and supports both academic and personal growth.
This position offers flexibility as a live-in or live-out role, depending on candidate preference.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a customized, play-based homeschool curriculum.
- Incorporate outdoor and nature-based learning experiences.
- Support academic, social, and spiritual development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- (Preferred) Include instruction in a foreign language or musical instrument.
- Certified teacher in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
- Experience teaching early learners (ages 3–6).
- Enthusiasm for outdoor, experiential education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred: proficiency in a foreign language or musical ability.
- Minimum$20 per hour
