Controls​/Electrical Engineer EPLAN

• Design & develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using tools like AutoCAD & EPLAN Pro Panel.
• Proficiency in selecting appropriate circuit protectors, wire and cable, sensors, relays, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O, motors, variable frequency drives, and servo systems.
• Generate and maintain detailed BOMs & Familiarity with electrical prints and cable schedules.
• Should have a strong understanding of global electrical standards and voltage systems. Ability to design transformer-based solutions for voltage adaptation.
• Proficiency in UL508A, CSA, CE & other global standards.
• Support electrical panel builds in manufacturing and field wiring for commissioning equipment.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Participate in initial equipment conceptual development and carefully balance product and customer specifications, process control requirements, layout complexity, cost, quality, and lead-time constraints.

• Bachelor’s in electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics or 3+ years of related experience as a Controls Design Specialist.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant setting preferred.
• Computer literate. Knowledgeable with MS Office software.
• High electrical & automation aptitude.
• Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross functionally to drive business solutions.
• Ability to learn interactively.
• Problem-solving and ability to be decisive during the decision-making process.
• Excellent electrical and technical skills.
• Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) & EPLAN Pro Panel software.
• Ability to stay organized, focused, and demonstrate appropriate time management to meet project deadlines.
• Social perceptiveness and fine attention to detail, as well as the ability to actively listen, analyze, and understand the needs/wants of others.
