A program designed for your future

For one year, divided into three periods, you will explore how Boliden operates end to end, and how your own unique background and experience connect to the bigger picture. As a graduate, you are employed in a permanent position from day one and supported by an individual development program. Throughout the year several engaged and experienced colleagues will guide you in your progress.

You will become part of an international network of graduates and colleagues, expanding both your knowledge and connections. Six joint training weeks with top-class lecturers will challenge your thinking and give you the opportunity to further deepen your skills. After graduation you will continue your journey with a mentor for six months. In addition, you will receive practical training in project methodology and Boliden’s production methods, enabling you to apply what you learn directly in our operations.

In this role as a Health & Safety Engineer, you'll be part of the HSE team at Boliden Odda, supporting both proactive and reactive health and safety work across the factory. You will help strengthen competence in occupational hygiene and chemical exposure, including chemicals, gases, and noise, while collaborating with production employees, managers, and HSE colleagues.

• Follow up proactive health and safety measures across the factory
• Conduct or coordinate different types of HSE testing
• Develop and deliver safety training
• Follow up employees, managers, and cases in the IA system
• Support and guide managers regarding deviations
• Participate in or lead incident investigations of varying scope
• Strengthen and share knowledge in occupational hygiene and chemical exposure, including chemicals, gases, and noise

• Bachelor's degree in HSE engineering, preparedness and crisis management, occupational hygiene, or another closely relevant field

You hold a relevant university degree completed in 2025 or later. You can communicate clearly in English, hold a valid driver’s license and are available to start in September 2027.
