Responsible for the removal of and transit of incoming monetary items into the Vault from the Gaming floor. And responsible for the sorting and counting of all monetary items received from the pull team. Verifies, balances, and records all incoming monetary items from the cash storage/bill validation boxes. Ensure that all guidelines are met as they pertain to the gaming regulations, as pursuant to the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS), State Gaming Compact and all policies and procedures, as it pertains to the gaming operations and objectives of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and 7 CLANS CASINOS.
All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional teamwork.
The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities of all team members. However, other duties will be assigned as deemed necessary by reporting department management and will be addressed per department job descriptions and Policies and Procedures.
DEPARTMENT OPERATIONSMaintains security of designated keys, pull carts, cash boxes, and gaming machines.
Prepare areas on the gaming floor by moving, replacing chairs in a productive and timely fashion.
Removal and replacement of all secured cash boxes in the appropriately labeled machines and carts in a productive and timely manner.
Ensures that all machines are carts are secured and locked properly and prevents damaging machines, boxes, carts in a productive and timely manner.
Count all income cash or other items of monetary value from bill validation boxes and or where available be able to utilize the slot or hopper of machines to be automatically counted. Verify the tally sheets for accuracy of count, denominational quantities and appropriate signatures and date.
Bundles and bands monetary items while verifying total monetary amount, denominational quantities, and segregation of denominations by chip or denominational value. Complete tally sheets including proper signature and date.
Examines all monetary items to detect and remove counterfeit, mutilated, and worn bills. Transfers all funds to main vault at completion of counts.
Ensure that all records of all transactions are completed in an automatic accounting system: report deviations or errors in accordance with TICS.
CASINO OPERATIONSGreet guest and team members eagerly upon arrival to the casino/hotel, maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times.
Be able to assist with guest questions by being knowledgeable regarding promotions, events, specials, areas, and locations of casino.
Maintaining attendance to ensure Casino and Guest has necessary coverage to provide efficient guest service standards.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCEPerforms all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe, internal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, OM TICS, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Maintains the Departmental log(s) noting any unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues, disputes, etc.

Under the direction of department management forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts. Makes decisions or draws conclusions using available data and from experience. Avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow team members or guests.
Communications
Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, departmental log/shift reports, departmental/company emails, signage, and company newsletter.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform these jobs successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma (or equivalent). Guest Services experience preferred, however not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks.
