Pit Supervisor

• Is responsible for the accountability of the chips, cards, and all gaming equipment for each designated area by maintaining a proper log.
• Shall observe and report any observed violations of the company’s policies and procedures to the Table Games Management staff.
• Monitor, witness, and verify all Table fills/credit requests.
• Monitor, witness, and verify cash and chip transactions between dealers and patrons and ensure they are of the highest integrity.
• Monitor all unusual activity between Table Games Personnel and patrons for collusion and relay such information to the Table Games Management staff.
• Communicate all suspicious play and activity of all patrons who are participating in defrauding DCR promptly.
• Assist in identification and notification of the Security Department and Table Games Management of individuals who are causing a disturbance.
• Attend all games protection education and other company directed training when it is deemed necessary by management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner while maintaining a professional work environment with all team members of Downstream Casino Resort and customers.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Attend all necessary training meetings.
• Assist in other projects as directed.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a daily/weekly schedule.
• Always act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Downstream Casino Resort and the Table Games Department.

• Must be at least 18 years old or older upon employment.
• Candidate shall preferably have at least two (2) years’ experience as a full-time Floor Supervisor, or Dual Rate Pit Manager, or a combination of both.
• Candidate shall preferably have at least three (3) years' Table Games experience in all games offered at DCR.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must deal effectively and interact well with all Guests and Employees.
• Must have effective communication skills when dealing with other departments as it pertains to the Table Games Department.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner according to DCR standards.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and respond to visual and oral cues.
• Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

• Stand for extended periods, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast‑paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, and employees in all situations.
• Be physically mobile and responsive to visual and oral cues.
• Work in a fast‑paced stressful environment.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Bend, reach, twist, and grip items while working at an assigned table.
• Operate in a mentally and physically stressful situation.
