Asset Protection Analyst

Our client is seeking an Asset Protection Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a critical part in reducing internal and external risk and loss across multiple brands by leveraging advanced reporting tools, CCTV, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, aligning with the organization’s commitment to security and operational excellence.

Asset Protection Analyst

Salisbury, NC | Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Long Term Contract

W2 ONLY - NO C2C

• Perform data mining, analytics, and trend monitoring to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Review POS system activity for irregular transactions and potential fraud indicators.
• Investigate internal behaviors and operational risks using multiple data sources.
• Report findings and insights through Excel and Power BI dashboards.
• Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to Asset Protection partners.
• Track and report case productivity, including quantity, dollar value, and case types.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or similar) preferred
• Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, VBA) and strong data analysis capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Asset Protection best practices, internal controls, and retail operations.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to summarize and present complex data clearly.
• 3–5 years of experience in Asset Protection, Risk Management, Finance, or related fields.
• Retail Experience (POS, Customer Service)
