Overnight Recovery Care Advocate; RCA)

Pioneer Point Recovery is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and highly responsible Overnight Recovery Care Advocate (RCA) to join our residential treatment team near Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma.

Similar to a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), Recovery Care Advocates work directly with clients throughout their stay at Pioneer Point. Our Overnight RCAs serve a particularly important role: providing a steady, awake, and attentive presence throughout the night while helping maintain the safety, security, and therapeutic environment of our residential program.

This position is about much more than simply "watching the houses."

Overnight RCAs conduct routine client safety and wellness checks, monitor the residential environment, respond to client needs or concerns that arise during the night, document relevant observations and events, assist with crisis intervention when necessary, and ensure important information is communicated to the incoming treatment team each morning.

The Overnight RCA also helps maintain the rhythm of the program - supporting bedtime and nighttime routines, helping clients who may be struggling with anxiety, cravings, sleeplessness, or emotional distress, preparing the environment for the following day, and helping ensure a smooth transition into the morning schedule.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently while remaining connected to the larger treatment team. The right person is reliable, observant, calm under pressure, comfortable maintaining structure and professional boundaries, and capable of remaining awake and actively engaged throughout the entire overnight shift.

Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, residential treatment, healthcare, corrections, security, or a related environment is preferred. Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, or co-occurring disorders is also preferred—but character, reliability, judgment, and the ability to connect with people matter tremendously in this role.

At Pioneer Point, Recovery Care Advocates aren't simply responsible for supervising clients. They help create the environment in which recovery happens - even at 2:00 in the morning.
