Facility: Sam Hider Health Center
Location: 859 East Melton Drive, Jay, OK 74346
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position: Level 3 Radiology Ultrasound Tech
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and evaluating medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the examination process, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review images for quality and completeness and maintain accurate examination records.
- Follow established imaging protocols and radiation/imaging safety standards as applicable.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Travel to the Vinita Clinic to complete the remainder of the contract, as required.
- Echocardiography may also be performed if the candidate holds the appropriate echocardiography credentials and is qualified to perform these studies.
- Relevant ultrasound/sonography experience.
- Appropriate credentials or certifications for diagnostic ultrasound.
- Echocardiography certification and experience preferred if the candidate will perform both ultrasound and echocardiograms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and travel to the Vinita Clinic as required.
