Compensation $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 a year plus benefits

Job Description Responsibilities
  • Coordinates agency IT needs with OMES

    • Receive and coordinate technology needs and requests with OHS ("agency") users and OMES

    • Coordinate agency IT projects with OMES to ensure proper completion and a timely installation

    • Review weekly service tickets weekly from OMES to ensure timely resolutions and escalates tickets when needed

    • Coordinates with OMES embedded tech on agency needs and tickets

  • Coordinates agency IT purchases and IT/software/equipment contracts

    • Review yearly App C from OMES with CFO for yearly billing and contracts

    • Review all agency IT related SOWs for proper requests and pricing before Executive sign offs

    • Review all agency contracts related to IT software, equipment, and services

    • Enter PRs for technology needs including software for OHS users

    • Review, process, and pay all IT related invoices for agency

    • Will be a purchasing card “pcard” holder

    • Review File Maker purchasing request software for all IT purchases and approve as appropriate

    • Process purchases for IT needs including software for agency

    • Process all computer orders and deployments including obtaining quotes and requesting PO’s

    • Update and sign off on P-card transactions through Works on a weekly basis

  • Provides agency IT support

    • Assist with setting up technology needs at all sites including PC’s, printers, and other items

    • Provide basic technology support to all OHS users, including creating OMES service tickets

    • Deploy new computers

    • Manage and update all email distribution lists for the agency

    • Provide support with POS systems agency wide

    • Administer and manage all agency Adobe accounts

    • Travel to agency sites across the state to assist with any technology needs

    • Provide support for OHC badge processing system/software, camera software, security monitoring software

    • Help trouble‑shoot internet issues across the agency, including coordinating new internet service at sites

    • Administrates agency SharePoint site

Other duties include, but not limited to:
  • Create written processes/procedures for IT, including POS systems, onboarding, deployment, computer orders, etc.

  • Make sure all applicable agency employees have laptops

  • Provide support to OHC Director of Operations on phased proposal to transition OHC complex security cameras to Capital complex systems

  • Create a workflow graphic for staff for IT troubleshooting (who they contact first, create a ticket, etc.).

  • Create an agency-wide IT inventory of all equipment, software, hardware, etc. and work with Finance for asset management and tracking

  • Liaise with agency administration on long‑range IT plans

  • Continued training‑ coordinator will participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities.

Requirements and

Education:
  • Requirements include 24 credit hours in computer science or related field, or two years of IT technical support experience, troubleshooting and job‑related certifications. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability working effectively in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment with ability to work autonomously preferred.

  • Customer service mindset.

  • State IT/IS related experience preferred.

  • In‑state travel is required.
