The Data & Insights (D&I) team harnesses the power of data to deliver transformative insights and solutions to EA game teams and players. D&I teams are involved in every aspect of data, driving strategy and governance; building powerful data and AI applications; and developing personalization, experimentation, and analytics tools, and more. In this role, you will shape analytics strategy and execution for growth initiatives within EA SPORTS. You will be a senior individual contributor, executing analyses and experimentation while also influencing senior stakeholders in product management and game development. You will report to the VP of Analytics, EA SPORTS and be a key partner to franchise leadership.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead analytics vision and execution for growth initiatives to support player experience, product development, and business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders across Product and Game Development, bringing data‑driven insight to critical decisions.
  • Build and scale game data infrastructure to support a new title, with a focus on telemetry, personalization‑oriented data, and other critical analytics pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and optimize systems that capture rich player and game data, support experimentation, and enable deeper insights into user behavior in partnership with engineering, analytics, and product teams.
  • Execute analyses using SQL, experimentation, and statistical modeling to uncover opportunities and inform live service decisions.
  • Conive of and lead machine learning initiatives that personalize the player experience, such as dynamic content recommendation, and integrate these solutions into A/B testing strategies.
  • Evaluate and champion practical applications of generative AI and automation tools to increase productivity and elevate insight generation.
  • Build strong connections between analytics and central data teams, ensuring best practices and tools are leveraged for impact.
What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience providing mentorship, or influencing teams (formal people management not required).
  • Experience working on live service games or similar digital products.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests or other experiments.
  • Familiarity with using GenAI tools to support analytics tasks.
  • Interest in games and using data to improve player experiences.
