Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician II / Mid-Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) ONSITE to join their team. As a Data Center Technician II / Mid-Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) ONSITE, you will be part of the Data Center Operations supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless data management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range

$35-40/Hour

What’s the Job?
  • Lead equipment deployment including racking, cabling, power connections, and network & storage setup
  • Diagnose and repair hardware failures such as servers, switches, power modules, and storage arrays
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective maintenance to prevent future issues
  • Manage environmental control systems, including thermal, airflow, and humidity in coordination with facilities teams
  • Collaborate with change management processes and coordinate with cross‑functional teams for seamless operations
What’s Needed?
  • At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in data center, telecom, or critical environment settings
  • Proficiency in hardware diagnostics, component‑level repair, and firmware upgrades
  • Experience with structured cabling, including fiber and copper connections
  • Knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, power distribution, backup generators, and basic electrical systems
  • Strong documentation skills, process discipline, and escalation awareness
