Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data center industry, is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead to join their team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead
Fayetteville, GA
Pay: $35-40/hr W2
Ongoing Contract
- Support critical inventory, logistics, and asset management functions within a data center environment.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of technicians, ensuring accurate handling, documentation, and movement of equipment and materials.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, manage data‑bearing device destruction, and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Mentor technicians through on‑the‑job instruction, model professionalism, and facilitate engagement through technical lessons and shadowing.
- Promote operational excellence by streamlining workflows and ensuring safety practices are followed daily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a 24x7x365 data center environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations in a technology or warehouse setting.
- Over 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
- Ability to meet security requirements, including background checks and compliance with client and government standards.
