Telecom Network Technician Trainer

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Telecom Network Technician Trainer to join their team. As a Telecom Network Technician Trainer, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the Telecommunications Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Telecom Network Technician Trainer

Location: Hilliard, Ohio

• Provide technical training and mentorship to telecommunications technicians, ensuring they are proficient in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom systems.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of telephone lines, DSL, T1, Ethernet circuits, and central office equipment.
• Support troubleshooting efforts by diagnosing issues with analog and digital circuits, and implement effective solutions.
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and communicate technical information clearly to team members.
• Work safely in confined spaces and at heights, handling heavy equipment as required.

• Technical knowledge of telecommunications transmission systems, multiplexing equipment, copper, and fiber‑optic technologies.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of telecom circuits and equipment, including COSMIC and CDF wiring practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for both analog and digital circuits.
• Ability to work in challenging environments, including confined spaces and aloft.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities.
